Villa Terrace is a breathtaking Italian-style Villa on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee. It’s views and architecture are unlike any other venue in Wisconsin. You will feel as if you just landed in Italy. Villa Terrace offers full or half day rentals for weddings, which can be combined with a rental at their other property, the Charles Allis Art Museum. Villa Terrace is a favorite for a reason; it’s stunning architecture and immaculately maintained gardens make it number one on the list of our Top 10 Wedding Venues in Milwaukee.

The Gage MKE
The Gage MKE Wedding
The Gage in Milwaukee is the perfect mix of urban, modern, and historical. It boasts his and hers getting-ready suites, amazing ambient lighting, grand staircase, two levels, and more! The brick interior and unique design features make it a photographer’s dream. For me personally, the best feature of the Gage is the ability to never have to leave the indoor space for all photography! The interior of the building is so beautiful, you never even have to step outside for photos!

Discovery World
Discovery World Milwaukee Wedding
Discovery World is Milwaukee’s beautiful science and technology center. Situated right on Lake Michigan, it boasts multiple rental opportunities for every need. From the The Roger & Judy Smith Family Pilot house seating 500, to the smaller Todd Wehr Theater seating 130, there’s an option for every couple. And the on-site parking is ultra-convenient for guests.

Milwaukee County War Memorial Center
Milwaukee County War Memorial Center
Milwaukee County War Memorial Center is a visible tribute to all that have served in U.S. Armed Services. The Fitch Plaza overlooks Lake Michigan and downtown Milwaukee, and is a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space. The Memorial Hall on the building’s third floor lends all the best view’s of Milwaukee’s downtown with it’s floor-to-ceiling windows. With seating for 260 guests and on-site parking, it is a great venue option for couple’s wanting breathtaking views of the city.

The Landing 1841 Wedding
The Landing 1841 gets in name from the year the property was built. The property was actually part of the Underground Railroad. It has great historic significance to the area. The Landing is situated on a beautiful, sprawling property with many options for outdoor photos. The Landing can accommodate both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Their wedding packages include the use of round dinner tables and French cross-back chairs, which is really amazing!

The Pritzlaff is a unique, historic building in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. The Pritzlaff building actually has four different event spaces within the building. The Galleria is often used for ceremonies, while rooms 325, 333, and 143 are typically the main reception room options. Each room is incredibly unique. From brick walls to beamed ceilings, and majestic pillars, the Pritzlaff building has it all! There is even rooftop access for some amazing photo opportunities.

Located in the heart of the Third Ward, the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel is the epitome of downtown Milwaukee vibes. Black Swan Plant N° 4
Black Swan Plant N° 4 Wedding
Located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, Black Swan Plant N° 4 is quickly becoming a favorite new venue for couples. The building was originally built in 1917 and housed Phoenix Knitting Company. The design of the venue keeps the traditional industrial feel of the building, while adding elegance with whitewashed brick, stunning chandeliers, and vintage decor. With a room capacity of 300, it’s large enough to host a great sized party (and there’s even a parking ramp across the street)!

Coast (Zilli Lake Gardens)

Zilli Lake Gardens hosts a few different event spaces on their grounds, Coast being one. Coast is a unique space with stunning views of Lake Michigan, a beautiful outdoor patio, and beautiful views all around. The North and South Gardens can also be utilized for ceremony or tented reception spaces. The North Garden is a large, open space overlooking Lake Michigan, with access to the Reiman Bridge leading to Milwaukee Art Museum. The south garden is where you’ll find Coast and the Miller Room. There are endless possibilities for event design with Zilli Lake Gardens!

The Atrium
The Atrium Shorewood Milwaukee Wedding
Located in Shorewood, a short 10 minute drive from the Third Ward, is The Atrium. Featuring a rooftop garden and a greenhouse converted to a bar, it is definitely one of the most unique Milwaukee wedding venues. The main space with an industrial vibe can seat 220 guests, and lends itself to flexible design. The Atrium’s lower level features private dressing rooms for all of those getting-ready moments, and features TVs, pool tables, and bathrooms separate from the main event space.

GATHER at Deer District is a unique venue located right next to Fiserv Forum and the plaza. Opened in 2021, and owned and operated by the Milwaukee Bucks organization, it is quickly become a new favorite wedding venue in Milwaukee.With 6,000 square feet of space, towering floor-to-ceiling windows, a dedicated events team, indoor and outdoor venue options, and seating for 250, it is a great option for couple’s seeking the downtown Milwaukee vibe.

The Covenant at Murray Mansion
The Covenant at Murray Mansion Wedding
While not located in Milwaukee, The Covenant at Murray Mansion is worth a mention due to it’s central location between Milwaukee and Chicago (about an hour drive from either). Located in Racine, it is a convenient spot between the two large cities. Built in 1874 and converted into a wedding venue, The Covenant is a true work of art. Upon opening the doors, you’ll be greeted by breath-taking 30 foot vaulted ceilings, a clean white interior design, stained glass windows, and stunning architecture. Included in facility rental are tables, chairs, linens, flatware and glass wear, and set-up and tear-down, making it conveniently inclusive for couples.
