Jesse + Meghan chose The Landing 1841 outside of Milwaukee in Burlington for their beautiful late May wedding. I first had a chance to hang out with Jesse + Meghan at their engagement session back in December. They came to Wausau from Chicago, and we chose a rustic location that matched what they envisioned for their engagement photos. We had just gotten a big snowfall right before their session, so it was pretty cold that day! Meghan wore a stunning red gown that she accented with an adorable rustic-feeling shawl. Even though they were cold, they toughed it out, and we were able to get some really adorable images for them. You can view their engagement session here. During their session, we chatted about what they had planned for their wedding, and I just knew it was going to be stunning! You can see the lovely photos and read the details from their The Landing 1841 Wedding below!
The Landing 1841 south of Milwaukee is the quintessential rustic Wisconsin wedding venue. It showcases so many beautiful features that Wisconsin brides love; from the gorgeous barn, to the stunning property and river, and the quaint farm house. Jesse + Meghan are from Chicago, so they chose The Landing 1841 as a central point for their family and friends. They envisioned a chic boho wedding focused on family and friends, and what their special day was truly about; their love and commitment to each other. Jesse + Meghan chose wild, overflowing florals to highlight the beautiful barn reception area. The stunning hanging chandeliers added elegance, while charming rustic and vintage touches finished off the boho feel of their day. More than the material beauty of their day, their love for one another was truly the highlight for everyone that attended. Jesse + Meghan are one of those couples that are absolutely destined to be together. Their adoration for one another is something that brings joy to everyone in their presence.
