Angela & John were married at The Waters in Oshkosh Wisconsin in early August 2016. If you’ve never been to The Waters, you are in for a visual treat! It is one of my all time favorite venues in Wisconsin. The Waters was build by architect William Waters in 1903. It originally served as the the Oshkosh Yacht Club. It was restored in 2008, and it now used as a special event venue. It is situated right on the shores of Lake Winnebago. It has the most stunning views, and the building itself is a work of art. Angela & John chose a navy blue and white theme for their The Waters Oshkosh Wedding.
Their ceremony was held right next to the water. It was so beautiful outside, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for an outdoor ceremony on the water. Angela wore a stunning strapless gown. The classical look of her gown was absolutely perfect for their venue and decor. John wore a navy blue suit, accented with the coolest checkered bow tie. The bridesmaid’s wore mismatched navy gowns, and the groomsmen wore grey suits. The bouquets were made with stunning white florals and pastel greenery. Everything felt perfectly nautical without being overbearing.
The dinner and reception were held in different rooms of The Waters. The upstairs room served as the dining room for the wedding. Amazing chandeliers hang from the ceiling, adding a warm glow to the room. The walls and ceilings are full of stunning architectural elements. The dance portion of the wedding was held in the lower room, where dark wood floors add the the ship like feel of the lower portion of the building. This The Waters Oshkosh Wedding was absolutely stunning, and I am so glad that Angela & John invited us to be a part of their amazing day!
