Kelsey & Weston were married on a hot day in late July 2016. They chose to hold their ceremony at the Rib Mountain Amphitheater in Rib Mountain State Park, with their reception at Rib River Ballroom. It was the perfect day for a Colorful Rib Mountain Wausau Wedding!
I first got to know Kelsey & Weston a little at their engagement session this past fall. We went up to Rib Mountain, which is just a beautiful place in fall. The colors are just amazing! It was great doing their wedding photos in the same place that we did their engagement session. They were just so sweet and laid back, and we had a blast! Kelsey & Weston chose bright summer colors for their wedding day style. Kelsey’s bouquet was filled with succulents, bright pinks, oranges, yellows, and blues. Kelsey had the succulents put in her bouquet from her family’s garden. Kelsey wore a stunning strapless gown and Weston wore a dapper grey suit. Kelsey’s bridesmaids wore bright teal-blue chiffon gowns, while the groomsmen wore light grey suits accented with ties that matched the bridesmaid dresses. After the ceremony, Kelsey & Weston had a big surprise for us. They rode off to the reception on Weston’s purple and black Harley motorcycle, in their complete wedding attire! It was so adorable. I decided then that Kelsey is much, much cooler than I am! I could barley move in my wedding dress, let alone ride a Harley!
Kelsey & Weston held their reception at Rib River Ballroom in Marathon, Wisconsin. They decorated the hall with rustic decor that kept with the colorful blue theme of the day. We had a chance to take just the two of them out onto the property behind Rib River Ballroom to take a few formals after dinner. It was such a great day for a Colorful Rib Mountain Wausau Wedding, and Kelsey, Weston and all of their family and friends were such a joy to work with!
