Courtney & Kyle’s wedding was the third of a triple wedding weekend for us in late June 2016. Their wedding was unique in that they held it on a Sunday! I first had the opportunity to get to know Courtney & Kyle at their engagement session this past fall. We took a trip up to the top of Rib Mountain for their adorable session. They were so cute together, and were a joy to photograph. When their wedding came, I just knew it was going to be beautiful. Their Rustic Bass Lake Golf Course Antigo Wedding was so much fun to be a part of!
Courtney & Kyle chose to have their wedding ceremony on Courtney’s grandmother’s beautiful lakefront property in Deerbrook, Wisconsin. Her grandmother’s property sits on a beautiful wooded lot right along side a lake. It was really a lovely location for a wedding ceremony. Courtney & Kyle chose deep pink peonies for their wedding florals, mixed with babies breath. Each bridesmaid had a single, large peony for their bouquets. It was simple and so lovely. And the bridesmaid’s lace navy dresses went so amazingly well with the deep pink of the peonies.
Courtney & Kyle’s reception was held at Bass Lake Gold Course in Deerbrook, Wisconsin. Bass Lake was founded way back in 1926, and boasts a supper club and restaurant as well as the golf course. Courtney & Kyle decorated their tented reception with peonies and rustic elements. It was so charming and intimate. We were able to take a few gold carts out onto the course to get some really great shots of just the two of them together. The lighting was just perfect and it made for some really beautiful images. I love it when we are able to do the bride & groom portraits later in the day like we did with Courtney & Kyle. All around it was a great day, and we had such a great time hanging out with Courtney & Kyle, and their families and friends!
