Rothschild Pavilion Wausau Wedding | Carly + Chad
Carly + Chad had a lovely rainy day Rothschild Pavilion Wausau Wedding. I love photographing weddings at the Rothschild Pavilion. It is such a unique, historic venue. The Rothschild Pavilion was originally built in 1908. It actually burned down in 1910 but was rebuilt into what it is today. The floor is actually supported by railroad car springs, and is the only venue built this way in the United States. It is such a large, open venue that can be customized in any way to fit a couple’s wedding day vision. The Rothschild Pavilion is even listed on our Best Central Wisconsin Wedding Venues page!
Carly + Chad chose neutral whites, greens, and blush pink for their florals and decor. The bridesmaids wore salmon-pink gowns, which looked stunning with their burgundy and blush pink bouquets. The groom and groomsmen wore all-black suits to keep with the classic feel of the day. Carly’s flowing chiffon gown looked absolutely beautiful on her, and paired amazingly with her overflowing bouquet of white and green.
It ended up raining on and off all day, but we managed to get outside for photos in-between the times of rain. Rain on your wedding day can seem like a pain, but it can always be worked around. And plus, it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day!
