I just returned from almost three amazing weeks in Florida. I had a wedding and engagement session in South West Florida, so I decided it was the perfect time to take a much needed vacation. While there, I shot a beautiful wedding in Fort Myers, and this stunning engagement session on Anna Maria Island. Anna Maria Island is one of those hidden treasures. It’s the sweetest little coastal town, with white sand beaches and Caribbean blue ocean. It’s very “Key West” in style, and feels like home. We happened upon AMI last year when we had our family photos done while on vacation. I knew I wanted to shoot an engagement session there some day, and as luck would have it, Bianca + Kainoa needed an engagement photographer. Bianca and I connected by chance in a Facebook group. She wanted engagement photos done the same time I was going to be in that area of Florida. It was perfect! Bianca + Kainoa live in Tampa, so they made the 1.5 hour drive south to AMI to meet me for their session. We explored the beautiful Bean Point beach just as the sun was starting to set. It was absolutely magical. I got to cross off two of my business goals already this year with the wedding and engagement session in Florida. I can’t wait to return and shoot in more beautiful places!
