Back in February, we put together a styled shoot at The Lageret in Stoughton, Wisconsin. The Lageret Wedding was recently featured on Bridal Musing. For a full list of vendors, check out the stunning feature on Bridal Musings here!
The styling for this organic industrial wedding inspiration came from the venue; The Lageret in Stoughton, Wisconsin. The Lageret was built in 1885, and was originally a tobacco warehouse. It was reopened in 2015 as an industrial wedding venue. Its original brick wall and wood floors were the perfect backdrop for our vision. We wanted to showcase a new take on industrial weddings. Instead of heavy use of dark colors, metals, and a boho vibe, we incorporated light, feminine colors and ethereal features to add an fine art, organic feel. We still kept some traditional elements of an industrial wedding; including the warehouse venue, two piece gown, and metal table lanterns. But we added handmade calligraphy invites, a wild, flowing bouquet tied with silk ribbon, and utilized fresh fruits for decor. A living wall and real floral necklace were the highlight pieces of the shoot. Using the white brick walls of The Lageret helped to keep the feel light and romantic, and helped us pull together a fresh, clean take on industrial weddings.
It was such an honor to work with such an amazing team of vendors on this shoot. It turned out so beautifully.
