Kristin & Travis were married on a beautiful fall day in late October 2016. This time of year is usually cold, but they were blessed with a warm, 60 degree day for their wedding. They held their ceremony at New Hope Lutheran Church in Neenah, Wisconsin, while their reception was held at the Grand Meridian in Appleton, Wisconsin. I’ve had the honor of photographing a lot of Appleton weddings this year, which I totally love! I think the Appleton area is unique, and of course I love the mall. Who doesn’t?! I hadn’t met Kristin & Travis before their wedding day. I always get butterflies when I haven’t met my couples before the wedding day. But Kristin & Travis immediately put me at ease. They are such wonderfully sweet, kind, and fun people. It ended up being an amazingly fun Grand Meridian Appleton Wedding!
Kristin chose a strapless ruffled gown that fit her absolutely perfectly. She looked so stunning and elegant in her wedding dress. Her bridesmaids wore navy gown, accented with colorful fall bouquets. Travis wore a dapper black suit with a white tie and vest, and his colorful boutonniere gave just the right amount of color. His groomsmen wore black suits with navy vests and ties. Each of Kristin & Travis’ three adorable children had a special role in their wedding day. Little Tenley and Ramzey were the cutest flower girls, and their big brother Landin pulled them down the aisle in the most adorable little wagon.
We all traveled to Riverside Park in Appleton for their wedding party and bride & groom formals. Riverside Park has the sweetest little lighthouse, and the fall colors were out in full force. We usually don’t have any fall colors left this late in the year, but Kristin & Travis lucked out with beautiful colors for their formals! It’s always great to be able to get outside for formals this time of year. We often have a lot of rain late in October, so I am so glad the rain held off for these two to get some amazing images together!
The Grand Meridian is a beautiful banquet hall in Appleton, Wisconsin. Kristin & Travis decorated the Grand Meridian in a fall theme. Tall vases with orange roses graced the tables, along with some shorter vases of fall decor and floating candles. The kept the navy & fall theme throughout the reception decor. I absolutely loved being a part of Kristin & Travis’ Grand Meridian Appleton Wedding. They have so much love for each other, which is so evident in the images from their special day.
