Amy & Troy’s Classic Backyard Keshena Wedding was such a beautiful, fun day! Amy & Troy chose Troy’s parent’s lakeside home for their ceremony and reception sites. His parent’s home is situated on the beautiful Blacksmith Lake in Keshena, Wisconsin. The home is set far back into the Northwoods, right on the water. The outdoor ceremony was set up overlooking the lake. Amy & Tory kept their decor minimal and classic. The bridesmaids wore flowing grey chiffon gowns, and the groomsmen wore grey suits sans jackets. Their dog Tuck, the sweetest little black lab you’ll ever meet, wore an adorable bowtie on his collar to help his mom & dad celebrate their special day. The florals consisted of white gerbera daisies mixed with babies breath for a classic look.
For their formal images, Amy & Tory found a beautiful property owned by an amazingly sweet gentleman that allowed us to use the property for their photos. The property included a river that ran through it with amazing rock formations that came out into the water from shore, an old red barn, beautiful wooded areas, and more. It was a really great place, and I’m so glad he allowed us to use it!
The reception was held in a beautiful tent right up against the lake. It was beautifully decorated with rustic and classic elements. They even had a Porta Lisa brought in for their guests! If you don’t know what a Porta Lisa is, check out this link. Think of the world’s classiest portable bathroom, and the Porta Lisa is still nicer! I know it sounds silly to mention, but it was one of the coolest things I’ve seen at an outdoor wedding. Amy & Troy opted for a beautiful sweets table in lieu of a cake. Rockman’s catered in an amazing dinner of a build your own pasta bar, cranberry glazed turkey, and grilled filet. It was such a light hearted, classic wedding, and we had such a great time being a part of Amy & Troy’s Classic Backyard Keshena Wedding!
