So I have to admit that I thought I blogged this wedding back in January, but I actually wrote the post then never published it! I’m glad I figured it out, because Corrine + Tyler’s beautiful wedding needs to be shared; their beautiful Kilkarney Hills Golf Course Wedding!
Corrine + Tyler were married on a super cold day in January 2017 in Stillwater, Minnesota. They chose the gorgeous St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Stillwater for their ceremony. St Michael’s is so beautiful inside. The architecture and decor in the church is stunning. And the best part for me, it has beautiful natural light! You all know how much I adore churches with tons of natural light. When I say it was a super cold day, I mean it! With the wind chill is was -25 degrees below zero. That is cold! But Corrine + Tyler were brave. They wanted to do outdoor formals, so we went outside in 5 minute increments then took breaks to warm up. In Wisconsin the weather hardly ever cooperates, so we just have to make the best of it. We ended up doing the majority of their formals indoors; but with the beautiful light in the church, they turned out just stunning! Even their wedding party braved the cold for a little bit to grab some lovely outdoor photos.
Corrine wore a stunning 3/4 sleeve lace gown. I have never seen a gown like it before, and I love it so much. And she looked amazing in it! Her bridesmaids wore dusty rose gowns, which went perfectly with their colorful winter florals. The groom and groomsmen wore dapper navy suits and brown shoes. There’s just something about navy suits and brown shoes that I love!
We stopped in Downtown Stillwater after the ceremony to take some shots by the river. The Ice Castles were up and running, and they were just too cool to look at. It was so much more windy by the river, so we didn’t stay outside too long. Corrine + Tyler chose Kilkarney Hills Golf Course in River Falls, Wisconsin for their reception. Kilkarney Hills Golf Course is a beautiful wedding venue. The staff are wonderful, and it’s so warm and inviting. Corrine + Tyler decorated Kilkarney Hills with lush winter greens and florals. I loved the table runner garland they had made for the head table. Their reception was so beautiful, and we had so much fun. It was a lovely Kilkarney Hills Golf Course Wedding, and we wish Corrine + Tyler all the best for their future together!
