I was thrilled when Dana contacted me about covering her and Steve’s Victorian Village wedding in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on May 30th, 2015. For more than 100 years, the Victorian Village has been a top destination for those looking for a rustic getaway. Right next to the Kettle Moraine Forest, the Victorian Village offers so many great opportunities to enjoy the beauty of Wisconsin. Dana + Steve hail from the Chicago area, and I’m blessed that they found me being 6 hours from Chicago! When the wedding day came, it was pouring rain! Despite the weather, the outdoor ceremony right on the lake proceeded as planned. We all got a little wet, but it was more than worth it! Dana + Steve even braved the pouring rain post-ceremony to capture some beautiful images around the Victorian Village Resort and in front of Elkhart Lake.
