Ashley + Zach were married on a rainy late fall day in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Ashley + Zach live in the Madison area and came to LaCrosse to get married in the place where Zach proposed. They had a beautiful Waterfront Cargill Room Wedding in spite of the all-day rain.
The Waterfront Cargill Room in LaCrosse is a grand ballroom venue that overlooks the Mississippi River. It’s a large enough space to be able to hold both the ceremony and reception at the same venue; which Ashley + Zach chose to do. Out in the courtyard is an amazing fountain, which Zach actually proposed to Ashley in front of years ago. So this venue held a lot of significance to them both. It marks the spot of the start of their lives together in so many ways. Ashley + Zach chose simple, classic details for their wedding ecor. The bridesmaids wore bright coral gowns, while the groomsmen wore grey suits accented with coral ties and vest.
It rained all day long on Ashley + Zach’s wedding day, and it was cold! But Ashley + Zach braved the rain to get some lovely photos outside in front of the fountain that means so much for them. We were even able to get their wedding party outside for some group photos. The fall weather in Wisconsin is always so unpredictable, but I’m glad our couples are willing to brave the elements to capture some amazing memories.
