Cole + Katie were married on a chilly day in early December. We shot their engagement session (you can view their engagement images here) this past spring on a beautiful, warm day, so the 10 degree with windchill day for their wedding was quite different! Cole + Katie are super sweet people, and they are so great together. They have such great chemistry, which made doing their photography very easy. When two people really connect with one another, it makes everything just flow so well. Cole + Katie held their ceremony at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill, and their reception at Stoney Creek Inn in Rothschild. They chose rich, deep marsala red hues accented with wintery greens for their wedding colors and decor. It was a stunning Marsala Winter Wedding Wisconsin!
I love the decor and styling that Cole + Katie chose for their wedding. A little fun fact; I don’t like winter, but I LOVE winter weddings. They are just so magical, and I can’t help but love the clean white of fresh fallen snow. And when you have deep, rich colors and flowing florals like Cole + Katie had, it just makes winter weddings even more amazing! And I’m in love with Marsala! Katie’s bridesmaids wore the most stunning, sparkly deep marsala gowns. I have never seen anything like the gowns she chose, and they were amazing! Cole + Katie kept the deep marsala red colors throughout their reception decor as well. The moodiness of Stoney Creek Inn matched the vibe of their wedding day perfectly. It was such a wonderful day, and I am so glad that Cole, Katie, and their wedding party braved the cold to get some amazing winter photos!
