Chelsea + Jeff were married on a beautiful fall day in Wausau, Wisconsin. They chose the historic Yawkey House Museum for their ceremony site, and the beautiful Rothschild Pavilion for their reception. The Yawkey House is one of my favorite ceremony venues in the Wausau area. Not only is the house beautiful, but the property is stunning as well. The Yawkey House is located in the heart of Downtown Wausau. It was built in 1900, and was the most expensive house in Wausau at the time of the build. It was originally a family home, but was given to the city in the 1950s. It is now a museum and wedding ceremony venue. It was such a beautiful Yawkey House Museum Wedding.
Chelsea + Jeff used rich fall florals, and shades of marsala, gold, and pink for their wedding decor. Chelsea’s bridesmaids wore lovely light pink gowns, while Jeff and his groomsmen wore gray suits. It was a warm, gloomy day. We were a little worried that the outdoor ceremony would be rained out, but the rain held off until after the ceremony and until all the formals were done. We literally felt the first drops of rain just as we took the last family formal. We definitely got lucky! Chelsea + Jeff decorated the Rothschild Pavilion beautifully. Gold and marsala decor mixed with rich, fall florals looked stunning against the Pavilion’s historic look. It was such a beautiful wedding, and we had so much fun with Chelsea, Jeff, and their family and friends!
